Air Canada

By Rail

Attendees who would prefer to take the train to Kingston will be able to receive a 10% discount on all regular fares with VIA Rail Canada, covering an extended travel period for your convenience. With 22 departures and arrivals daily, Kingston’s station offers connections to and from major city centres such as Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.

Via Rain

By Car

Arriving via Highway 401 Eastbound or Westbound, take the Division St. exit (#617) and travel south on Division St. for approximately 4.5 km. Miller Hall, home to the Department of Geological Sciences and Engineering, is located at the intersection of Division and Union streets.

By Bus

Coach Canada / Trentway-Wager Bus Lines operates 25 daily departures and arrivals at the City of Kingston terminal, to and from major city centres such as Toronto, Cornwall, and Peterborough. Coach Canada / Trentway-Wager provides passenger, charter and cargo services to and from the City of Kingston. Greyhound Bus Lines provides service to and from the Kingston terminal. There are two to three daily departures and arrivals providing convenient connections to Ottawa. Shuttle Services to Kingston

Staying in Kingston


On-site Accommodations

Relax in comfortable and affordable apartments, located right on campus! Smith House and Brant House are newly-built, air-conditioned premium buildings offering two-bedroom units at $109.00 a night per unit (tax extra+ 3% DMF).

Each unit includes 2 bedrooms sharing a single, private washroom. Each bedroom features one extra-long double bed, duvet linens, towels, desk chair, wardrobe, flat screen TV with basic cable, and mini fridge. The buildings also have beautiful common rooms that can be used for socializing or for meetings, laundry facilities, and free Wi-Fi. Families are welcome, however daycare is not available. A small food stand selling basic staples (snacks, breakfast items, etc.) operates in the lobby. Complimentary coffee and two computer terminals are also available in the lobby. Parking passes for the lot beside/under Tindall Field are available $14 per night for a single night, or $26 per week. Buildings are secure and accessible using a key card, once signed in.
